First day

Today was the day, I was pretty strong the whole time, until a day before, after coming home from the ER. It just hit me that he is leaving tomorrow. We had tears and talks and hoped it won't be too bad next day. It was a short night, I think I slept only 3 to 4 hours. We got ready and headed on post, Ricky got the weapon in the meantime I went to clothing and sales to get a weapon sling and it slowly was getting closer. After the manifest we had time for ourselves and we left at around 11 am , even though they stayed till past 12 pm which I found out later :( I would have stayed longer...

At home the expected happened and Melody was just giving me hugs. I am sure it will be hard for me whenever she will say Daddy. Like just now, and again. I have to get used to it, I hate the beginning of the deployment, it sucks ass!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
